“Nelly Star Hotel & Restaurant A very good place for refreshments during a long drive from Batticaloa to Jaffna or Colombo to Jaffna. The interior design is nice and well maintained. I think the hotel has been opened only a few months ago, and everything still looks fresh and clean. The food tastes good and is well prepared. The washrooms are very clean and well maintained, which is very important for travelers. Overall, a comfortable stop for drivers and families. Highly recommended.”

“I ordered Chicken Kottu, Indian Chicken Kottu, Naan Rotti, and Prawns Biriyani. The food was overall good — the kottu and naan were really tasty and well-prepared. Personally, I didn’t like the Prawns Biriyani, but my friends enjoyed it a lot. The service and packaging were also nice.”
